Thank You Jay Dee

(February 7, 1974–February 10, 2006)

This man changed my life. Eargasmic is the only word that really describes my personal discovery of Dilla's work. At the time i was on my Little Brother steez; amazed by the '9th wonder sound.' But once i heard Dilla's catalog i fell in love. If it has a Dilla beat ill bump it, it doesn't even matter how wack a verse is. ATCQ, Slum Village, Common, & Busta Rhymes are just a few of the 90s Hip Hop artists he produced for; among many others.
